What better way to let children enjoy their time spent in school than to have special activities in class each week! EALC declared each Friday as special activities day for all our students. Whether its an activity for the whole school or only for their class, Friday will definitely be something that the children will look forward to. Here are some samples of activities that Congressional children has done so far:
The children read the story “Bear’s New Friend”. The story ends with bear and his friends having a swim. What ultimate fun to end that week’s lessons with the students having a swimming party of their own?

“Teacher, Fun, Fun Friday today?” Jef was sitting on his mat, beaming with excitement, while Teacher Maricar and I were busy preparing for their Donut shop activity.
“Oh yes, Jef, it’s our Fun Friday today! I can see you’re excited!” I replied to him happily.
“The Donut shop activity was the first fun activity I have planned for Jef’s class, the Seniors, to reinforce the lesson for the week – the letter D, number one and circle. It was a huge success! Samantha, Adam and Raphael had the opportunity to be in charge of the counter. The children were so eager to buy the donut of their choice using their one peso coin.

The Kinders had their share of Fun! Fun! Friday. M-m-m-m muffin decorating day was their first and what a day of laughs! Using a rebus chart, (a pictorial paragraph to describe the step by step process of the activity), the Kinders followed the steps on decorating a muffin. And voila, after a few minutes, their baked creations were just amazing!
Filan’s muffins were like a flower garden, cream topped with flower shaped marshmallows! CJ’s muffin was topped with tons of chocolate chips. He loved how the way his muffin looked like that he ate them all in school!
Early Achievers’ have made Fridays fun. All the teachers are continuously searching for ways to make their Friday activities memorable and enjoyable. We want your children to have a break from the lessons for the week. We want them to look forward to exciting activities every Friday.
Watch out for more fun on Fridays!
